So my morning started out crappy.
- First off, my internet is not working properly. Its only connected at 12 Mbps.. and is being slower than dialup. Absolutely NOT acceptible. So, I called Comcast and they are coming out to check, but not until tomorrow from 3-5. WHAAAT? Ok, I’ll live
- Next, I got my camera and all the required paperwork ready to go to UPS. I was going to have them package it so that if something broke it would be their responsibility. Ok, so onto the story..
- I left the house with plenty of time to get to UPS and make it to work. Oh, and to get gas. So I left the house and turned towards the highway to get gas near there. Turns out there is construction galore and the road is blocked up. I turn around and go the other way, towards town, to the Buddy’s Gas station. I pull in, park, and realize i forgot my purse. BAHHH
- I run back home (really, only a few blocks away, but still irritating) and then go back to Buddy’s to get gas. Then, I go back towards the highway and have to sit and wait for traffic so that I can turn onto a side road that will bypass the construction.
- I get onto the sideroad and get to Airline Drive, only to find out that IT IS CLOSED. So I have to go ANOTHER way to get to South Street. GRRR>
- I make it to South Street, find the UPS store.. ok not even a UPS store- its a UPS TRAILER. Literally. Its in a trailer. But, it had the sign, so I figured it was legit. I go stand in line for about 5 minutes only for the guy to tell me that they DON’T package things and that my camera needs to be in its original box. Ok, I do have the original box, but what about some people who don’t save things like that?
So, shipping my precious Rebel is out of the picture for today. I guess I have to go to the Post Office tomorrow and hope they ahve a box and some peanuts and bubble wrap to ship it out in. GRR. What a day.
Well, I should sign off.. I need to get Aria out of time out (she’s in a horrible stage of NOT LISTENING) and get the girls into the bath and ready for bed. Yippeee!
