Finally! Pictures of the Classroom!

I’m just getting around to organizing all these pictures I have on my computer, and decided I’ve been stalling long enough with pictures of the classroom.  You will probably have to click on the picture to see them a little larger…

Also remember… this room was COMPLETELY empty when M, G and I went in and started to decorate.  Not a desk in here, not a thing on the walls (except the whiteboard and bulletin boards).  What a TON of work…and we had THREE teachers!  Warning all family members and friends…. you just might get recruited to helping me decorate when I get my own classroom HAHAHA 🙂  I can’t imagine how long it takes one teacher to do it on their own.  (Missy told me they usually have people come help them)

I’ll post the pictures in Clockwise order, starting in the front of the room standing by the door…

This is from the doorway view, kind of.  Teachers desk is by the windows in the corner.. White board up front, kids desks. On the far wall just below the big yellow poster with flowers is our Stoplight System (green, yellow and red light warnings). 

This area is where we do the Morning Greeting.  We write a message to the kids on the board every morning with a Magic Word they have to find.  You can see the All About Me Board (yellow background).  This is also a center during Center Time- the group reads level books with the teacher.

This is the sink area and the doorway. How exciting!  LOL

Back carpet corner is the Word Work Center in the morning. In the afternoon we do Daily Math activities with all the stuff on the wall.

Back wall is our Word Wall.  Also the Computer Center in the morning.

FAR FAR back corner is the Class Library (a center in the morning) and the orange table is our Writing Center in the morning.
