Progress…

  • Ryan is still home, and he managed to get is arse out of bed at a decent time this morning to make another appointment with his chiropractor to get his shoulder/neck figured out.  I can barely talk to him I’m so annoyed, and I shouldn’t be.  Its not my problem he’ll have limited days to spend with his newborn son. He’ll be the one regretting it later.  I’m the lucky ass who gets to stay home with him for awhile.
  • We had a guy come to pick up our weight bench/station today.  We finally sold it.  Ryan bought it about a year or so ago for my brother for Christmas, but then my mom ended up buying my brother one.  So, he decided to keep it even though we have no room in our basement (because I’m spoiled and Ryan built me a scrapbook room/office that takes up most of the basement).  So, its been collecting dust, and wasting precious space.  That, and we really could use the money.  Ryan was well enough to help the guy disassemble the weight thingy and its out of here!
  • I also got paid today for my new awesome "stay at home mom" job.  I had mentioned earlier that I am scrapbooking for the lady I used to babysit for.  I love that I can work my own hours and its something I LOVE to do.  And girly pages are so fun!
  • I now have 2 books I’m reading. The first is "Baby Laughs" by Jenny McCarthy (which I already mentioned).  Funny book- love the illustrations.  Reminds me of a friend I had in highschool…she used to draw the most hilarious illustrations of her "dramatic" life.  Anyway, Maria let me borrow another book that she just finished reading.  Knocked_u_2 Its called "Knocked Upby Rebecca Eckler.  So far I think its hilarious, although the reviews on amazon.com are pretty negative.  I think people take it too offensively.  Yeah, she takes pregnancy for granted and she’s really self centered, and her relationship with "the fiance" is pretty messed up, but its great for a good laugh and a little humor.  I mean, really, there are people out there that think that way, and Eckler just has the guts to put it in writing. I found an interview article about the author HERE.  You don’t have to agree with their lifestyle, its just a funny read.   I’d recommend it.
