So I’ve spent the last hour or so searching Amazon for some new books to read. I was at Target today and they had a ton of "chick lit" books that looked pretty funny. So, I spent a good half hour at Target writing down all the titles and authors. I found out that if you go to Amazon and search for "Red Dress Ink" it brings up a ton of great chick lit books… So after finding a bunch that looked good I went to the Jackson District Libary online catalog and requested a bunch. I’m babysitting Aria tomorrow- picking her up from preschool at 10:30- and I think we’re going to take a trip to the library so I can pick up some good books to read.
I was productive tonight, though, other than finding books to keep myself occupied. My Aunt Dawn gave Porter a toybox- it was Lindsey’s (my cousin) from when she was little. Ryan and I went and picked up the toybox and I sanded it down and started painting it black so it matches the furniture in our livingroom. I’m going to put it behind the couch and maybe find some kind of cushions for the top of it so it’ll be like a storage bench or something.
Oh! And I baked a cake tonight. A double layered chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. YUM!
