I found an awesome deal…. 20 Disc box set of Baby Einstein videos on eBay for $20 (plus $25 shipping). But still… $45 for 20 dvd’s. Porter loves the Baby Einstein videos. He watches it about once a day, usually while I hop in the shower. We only have two of the videos, Baby Bach and Baby Neptune, and I think he’ll get bored soon just watching both of those. So, I’m on a mission to buy the 20 disc set. I was 8 seconds away from winning it and got outbid at the last second. Jerks! So, I have 56 minutes until the next auction ends and hopefully I’ll win. I’ll keep you updated.
Our house is a warzone right now. Last summer we put a new roof on the house (that’s "ruff", Kim not rooooof HAHA!) because we had a bad leak in our bedroom. The drywall was pretty damaged so Ryan ripped out the ceiling in our bedroom and is putting up new drywall. Too add to the demolition we have this dinky closet in our room, so Ryan’s building a new big closet on one wall where the wall indents about a foot, and we’re knocking out the dinky closet. Hard to explain… I’ll post pictures later. Sooo… after he knocks out the old closet there would be a hole in the floor where the wall of the closet is. You know what that means… new carpet is needed. We went today and got a good deal on new carpet… $380 for carpet, padding, INSTALLED… out the door. Sweet huh? Sweet price, but not sweet to have to buy it. UGH. While I’m in Georgia Ryan’s going to try to get the room all finished and I’ll paint it when I get back (currently the walls are red, and I’m kind of bored with it). Then we’ll have the new carpet installed. I don’t know what color I’m going to paint though. Our comforter is tan and our sheets are red. I really don’t want to have to buy a new comforter or sheets (well, I’d like to, but its not something we really need to spend money on right now). So maybe I’ll find some throw pillows for our bed that have red and another light color in them and I can paint the walls that light color.
Anyway- so our house is torn apart. One of our dressers is in the livingroom, as well as our bookshelf and nightstand. Our other dresser is in our guest room, which is tiny, and we are sleeping in there. I can’t wait to leave for GA so I don’t have to be around this mess!

Painting over RED walls sucks!!! So, I would recommend a dark color to cover it. Dark brown would be BEAUTIFUL! But maybe you are an expert painter and know how to cover the red without it being poopy annoying. LOL.

It sounds like you guys are going to have all new house inside- how fun! I love remodeling and I love change! Fun for you- I can not wait to see the before and after shots! :O)
