Weekend update

Saturday I had the wonderful privilege of being a part of the Feister’s 25th Anniversary (SURPRISE) Party.  Rocky and Lisa Feister are my friend Leslie’s parents.  Leslie, her brother, numerous friends and family were able to pull off this huge surprise.  They even had family fly in from Florida and New York… without Lisa and Rocky knowing!  It was so awesome to see the looks on their faces as they walked into the backyard and saw everyone there.  And the look on Lisa’s face was even more priceless when her out of town family walked into the back yard from the house. I am excited to have been able to capture these memories for them.  (even though it was gloomy and near dusk outside…. the lighting conditions weren’t that great to work with… low shutter speeds, high ISO… please keep that in mind when viewing the pictures!)

I wanted to share their album (I hope you don’t mind, Les!)

While I’m on the subject of pictures…. I want to remind friends and family that I’ve set up an account at Mpix for you to order any pictures of Porter if you wish to.   I know it may be a lot easier to just print them off my site… but the pictures I post have a very low resolution (aka… really-bad-quality-for-printing) and it kinda makes me cringe to see my pictures printed at such a low resolution.  Sorry to sound like a photo-snob…. but photos are my thing and I hate to see them butchered.

If you need the site and password again, drop me an email. And if you only have intentions of ordering one or two photos, drop me an email about that and I’ll gladly have a few extra copies printed when I place my next order.

  1. I’ve had days like those. We must drive men nuts, when we bawl uncontrollably! I’ve always wondered how they are able to handle stress without crying sometimes! Hope today is better.

  2. i’m glad that you had a great night scrapping! have a nice relaxing day! we’re doing pretty much the same thing here. oh, and happy birthday to the sh!
