Porter’s First Haircut

I finally broke down and decided to get rid of P’s Baby Mullet.  It wasn’t really that bad, but when he wore a collared shirt (which he’d be wearing plenty of around the holidays..) it flipped over his collar and just looked hideous.  So, we called up Grandpa Barczak, who is a barber, and made plans to meet at The Barber Shop this morning.

Ryan’s grandpa was a barber, and did his first haircut.  Ry’s dad took over the shop and so the tradition continues (and probably ends here) and he did Porter’s first haircut.

(NOTE: the tiny bald spot on the back is my fault… I put his hair in a ponytail and it was too close when he cut it… oh well… I got my lock of hair, and his head of hair will grow out LOL)
