So I had things to blog about this morning….

but this computer screwed me up.  I went to get online upstairs on the laptop, and couldn’t find our wireless network.  Its been doing this every so often… we’ll be on the internet just fine, and then a little bit later we can’t connect.  So irritating.  So I tried it and tried it, and even tried re-setting up our network connections.

Well, turns out our internet downstairs wasn’t working, so I called SBC.  I think it was froze up or something because once I restarted the computer (why didn’t I think of that first?) it worked.

So, an hour and a half later, I’m back upstairs again with the kiddos (Aubri stayed the night) and ready to blog.  And I can’t remember what exactly I was going to blog about.

Back to Aubri… my sister went to a Justin Timberlake concert last night and needed a sitter, so I offered for Aubri to stay the night with us.  She’s so much better than when she was younger (she’s 21 months old now).  She has been so good.  We picked her up and went to Target, and it was kind of funny going through Target.  She’s 9 months older than Porter, but weighs a pound or two less, and is an inch or two taller. And she hardly has any hair yet (well, she has some, but its all up top… no length at all).  So, together they look like they’re the same age.  Ry and I each took a kid in a cart (nope, Heather, we didn’t take in any strollers… but we DID see about 3 people with strollers LOL!) and I felt like we had twins.  Kinda funny.

Last night I got addicted to that darn game again.  I got to level 83 or something like that and couldn’t get past it.  I wish it had some save points so you didn’t have to repeat everything you’ve already passed.  Friday night we went to Heather and Ryan’s, and took our laptop (just because we could HAHA!) and connected to their network.  Heather, HerRy and I were all using laptops (they have 2), playing that Impossible Quiz, trying to work together on it.  We’d all get to a hard level we couldn’t pass, and each try a different answer to save up lives HAHA!  We did finally get off the computers and play Circle of Death… fun game.

By the time I decided to go to bed last night it was 12:30.  Before the time change.  And then we went to get in bed and heard this screeching noise.  A BAT!!! In our bedroom!! EWWWW.  I was positive it was in our laundry basket, but Ry determined it was in the attic space above our room… it sounded so close we were thinking it was behind the crown molding.  There was a little space (the wood shrunk in the cold, so there is a tiny space between the wall an the molding) and Ry kept spraying Zippo lighter fluid back there. OMG I hope no one lights a match near that wall HAHAHA!  Anyway, an hour later, the bat was quiet and we went to bed.

I woke up around 7 to Porter in his room babbling away.  I got him up and we tried to be quiet and not wake Aubri, as I hadn’t heard her in the other bedroom yet. I peeked in, to see if she was awake, and the child was just LAYING there… awake… staring at the ceiling.   Not sitting up and playing with the baby doll or blanket in her bed, not talking, or anything.  Just laying there. HAHAH!!  How are you supposed to know she’s awake???  So we went in to get her, and she still layed there.  Just staring at us.  HAHA!  I swear, this child is like no other.  Don’t get me wrong…. she’s super easy to take care of… she doesn’t do much.  She’s sitting beside me… like she has been doing for over an hour.  Just sitting.  Staring at the TV. Do babies DO that?  I don’t think I’ve ever met a one year old who isn’t a busy body or curious about getting into things.  Well… I take that back. I have one sitting next to me. Sometimes I wish P would do that… just BE.. Just sit and be content.  I said sometimes.  Cause that might get boring.  P is toddling around, playing with toys, bringing an occasional bear or car over to Aubri, and she looks at it for a minute, but hasn’t yet considered getting down and playing with Porter.  LOL.

Well… I need to go.  I have to call Heather to see when she’s getting Aubri.  And get in the shower. I’m going to Lansing with Maria.  YAY!  Porter is staying home. Double YAY YAY! Shopping without Porter!  (Not that I have any $$ to spend…)

Talk at ya lata!!
