After Kayla recommended the Canon A610, and seeing she is a dSLR girl too, I went ahead and finally did it… I finally bought a point and shoot. I figured if she normally spoiled by the 30D, and can say good things about a point and shoot, then it must be decent enough. I found a great deal on eBay… $150 and its practically brand new (box, cords, card all booklets etc).
So far I really like it. What I think I like most is the flip out LCD screen… I was able to turn it out and turn the camera around and take this picture of Porter and I (yeah, its nothing great, but at least I could see where I was aiming!)
Speaking of Porter… the poor guy is still completely under the weather. My mom called me at work today and said he was acting lethargic, had thrown up the 1/2 a mini bagel he’d eaten as well as all the Pedialyte. So, I made an appointment for him and turns out he has an intestinal virus thats going around. Vomiting, diarrhea, fever, crankiness. He should be back go normal in 7-10 days (what!!). He is down to 19lbs. He was over 20lbs about 3 months ago…
Anyhow, I’m glad tomorrow is my last day of working this week. Other than the newborn session I have this weekend. I just want to cuddle the little guy… I feel horrible that he’s so miserable.
I also can’t say much about this freaking weather. What is up with it! We are supposed to get 3-5 inches of snow tonight. INCHES! Ugh. I’m so over it. When will it be spring already?

Wow, great camera! I have a similar, less-advanced Canon, lol… it’s the A530, no flip-out screen. Canon’s the best 🙂
