Today started on a low note. I just felt bummed about everything… my hair was getting horrible to style, my clothes are just blah, my body is just gross, Ryan still hasn’t fixed the brakes on the Santa Fe, he left the garbage by the front door AGAIN, our house is trashed and dirty as usual and so on and so on. I had a hair appointment at 3:30 and I told her I wanted to take 2 or 3 inches off, as it was taking forever to blow dry (I HAVE to blow dry my hair with a boars hair bristle round brush). I also wanted some long sideswept bangs. I told her to just do whatever, it’d grow back.
Well, after she was finished, I felt like my hair was SO short. I figured it was just because I was so used to it being long. I hadn’t realized just how long it’d gotten (although not NEARLY as long as Savannah Joy’s!). She picked up a cut off chunk from the floor and it was just over 5 inches long (she held it up to a 6 inch comb). YIKES! She cut off nearly 5 inches of my hair!! At first I thought I’d love it, but I really am not loving it at all. Its so similar to the haircut I got when I’d just gotten pregnant, and I was not happy at all with that haircut. Oh well. It’ll grow, right? (ok, now that I look at that old picture, this cut has a lot more layers. And I think its a tad longer). I’d post pictures but Ryan is on the computer downstairs so I can’t load/resize my pictures yet. I’ll post later.
*ETA* Just call me Mother-Big-Hair. Yeah, I like pouffy hair. Something about the size of my butt and attempting to balance it out? HAHA!
At 7 I met a bunch of other girls from Cheeky Little Monkeys, and boy did I need a moms night out! It was great to get to meet some of our newest members and to hang out, chat, laugh and bitch with other women. Fun stuff! I do have a picture from our get together, I’ll add it later.
Well, thats about it for now. House is on, so I’m going to concentrate on that now. I’ll post pictures later.

I can’t believe how long it’s been since I checked out your blog….you’ve been busy! Congrats on the working out….keep it up, you’ll start to enjoy it again….eventually when you can run 2 miles and feel like you could run 10 more. I just love that feeling! Anyway, can’t wait to see your new cut, I’m sure it’s not as bad as you let on but I can’t believe she cut off over 5 inches without your permission! That’s pretty bold. Also, I’m glad you got your camera back…..the wide open shots of Porter are awesome!

I think your hair’s nice either way!! I can’t wait for the Third Season of House to come out this summer, then I can own it like I do the First and Second Seasons already. God, I love that show!!
