Not much to say about Sea World. I’m probably boring everyone with my lengthly posts (sorry). So, let me wrap up Sea World.
- We went to this awesome Dog, Cat, Rat, Duck, Pig show… very cool. We didn’t take pictures, but we did video it. Basically it was the above mentioned animals trained to do things on stage… not so much tricks, but like opening doors to let other animals out, climbing poles, etc. Ok, that sounds dumb… it really was cool.
- We saw Shamu show… well, kind of. We got there half an hour early to get decent seats (not in the soak zone, though), and then about 10 minutes into the show, just as the actual whale came out to perform, Porter had a melt down (way past naptime) and we left. He fell asleep like 2 minutes after we strapped him into his stroller.
- Ry and Ryan rode Kraken
- We saw manatees, dolphins and sharks… so cool. Ry and I always go to aquariums in new cities we visit, and we never get to see sharks. This one had a tunnel you walk through and had lots of good sized sharks in it. Very fun. In the dolphin pool, the dolphins came right up to the edge and I was able to get some pictures of them. That was fun too.
- Sea World had a great kids area, a HUGE plaything (like, 50 McDonald’s playscapes put together… it was HUGE), a couple water areas to play in, quite a few rides too. Porter was too small for all the rides, and we didn’t have a water diaper so he couldn’t play in the water area.
Thats about it. I enjoyed Sea World a lot, and the lines weren’t as long as Disney. I’d definitely do it again.

I’m so jealous of your picture taking skills. WOW. I absolutely love that silhouette pic of Ryan and Porter in the aquarium. It’s gorgeous! Anyways, glad you guys are having such a blast. See ya soon 🙂
