What did we do today?
Absolutely nothing.
What have we done this week?
Absolutely nothing.
Ry has had the entire week off (he goes back to work tomorrow)… he had today off b/c, obviously, its a holiday. He took Monday off as we were in transit from Florida to Michigan, so he figured, what the hell, I’ll take Tuesday off as well.
Yesterday I went to my interview (which went well, I’ll know more tomorrow), and went grocery shopping. I arrived home and took over parenting duty while he went golfing with his dad to make up for the canceled Florida golf outing (his Father’s Day present from P and I). The rest of the day we just… did…. nothing.
This morning I got Porter up and we went to Kohls and Target. I was bored, didn’t want to sit in the house.
Porter took a nice nap this afternoon and I spent his naptime getting pictures ready to print (no, I’m nowhere NEAR done… I’m not even through the first day of Disney. Sickening.)
After he woke up, Ry and I took him to the mall and we checked out Gaps Really Big Sale and got him some cute clothes for the fall/next spring-summer. We were going to swing by the playground on our way home, but we ended up taking longer at the mall than we anticipated so we figured a few minutes of play on the big bronze hippo sufficed for a playground trip.
We came home, fed Porter dinner (we weren’t hungry… we ate a late lunch of homemade stromboli), and kind of farted around the house all evening. Oh, I did manage to scrub down our Chicco stroller that was pretty gross and greasy from eating on the run all last week, and I powerwashed the front deck (I’m addicted to that power washer, I tell you!).
I’m contemplating my Thought for Thursday post for tomorrow (actually, today! Its just turned midnight as I type!). I have a great topic thats kind of been on my mind recently, but I want to do the post justice so I’m not sure if I’ll have the time to devote to really writing it well. I might just do a quick and dirty post and keep it lighthearted for the week. Not sure. What do you think?
And, of course I’ll leave you with a few pictures…
It stormed badly one afternoon in Florida, and Porter was absolutely fascinated with the "raiaaaiii" and thunder.

OK, we’ve just looked at every Pata picture (TWICE!) and Morgan would like to say that he likes the one with Elmo and the one with the bunny (the dinosaur at Dinoland LOL) the best.
Now he’s standing beside me (he got the boot when he was trying to smack the computer LOL) yelling PATA ELMO COME PEEZE MOMMY! Where is the mute button??? HAHA
