Oh. My. Words.
My blog has a new name.
I’m in the process of creating my new blog over at blogger.com, and before thats up and running, I wanted to give this new name a spin and see what you all think.
I wanted it to be "me".… something that kind of… represents me, kind of, kind of not… in a way. Does that make sense?
So, I thought and thought, and I tried to come up with something that was me.
I thought of inside jokes… would "Juken Bacon" or "Cheese on the Juke" be worthy blog names? (maybe I’ll tell you the stories… later)
I thought about topics I posted about…. mommy topics, snarky topics, happy topics, toddler topics, bitching topics… what could work for my blog name?
Nothing seemed to fit. I tried to think of things I said often… quotes or words or what not. I sometimes get into these "rhymey" word phases where you’ll hear me say things like "fricken dicken" or "heckum schmeckum" or "flippin dippin". But those seemed…. silly.
It finally came down to this… Oh. My. Word. Something I tend to say a lot, about a lot of things.
And, so it became… my blog name.
To clarify why my blog name is Oh. My. Words. instead of Oh My Word… well, seems that some moron* has claimed ohmyword.blogspot.com and hasn’t used it in OHHH… FIVE FREAKING DEAKING years. Oh-my-word.blogspot.com and ohmywords.blogspot.com were also taken, and either never posted on or neglected for the few years also (A-holes!). So… I had to get a bit creative with my blog addy… I’ll release it LATER.
