SCHOOL IS CLOSED!!

Oh my what glorious words to hear today!  Well, of course I’m up bright and freakin early and can’t get back to sleep.  My back hurts and I couldn’t get comfortable and Porter started kicking around.  So, here it is 6:30am and I’m wide awake.  It snowed a ton outside so I’m going to scrap scrap scrap today!  Ryan took the day off of work (bad boy) and we might go get lunch later and my b-day present- I *think* I’m getting a new computer chair.  The one I have now doesn’t sit up so its like your at a desk- its more of a recliner type and I think that it doesn’t help my back much to be lower than the computer desk.  Anyway, I’m excited.  I want a rolling, up and down office chair!!  I think I’m going to spin by the chiropractor today too.  Its been a week and 2 days and my lower back is really hurting.

And, of course, last night I left my lesson plan book and everything at school thinking I’d be back today.  I told the other teacher "LOOK! I’m leaving my bag" and I was so nervous b/c I ALWAYS take my lesson plan book and bag home even though I rarely do planning at home.  I just like the thought that *if* I felt like planning or what not, I would have it at home. Well, I left it at school last night and there’s no school today so I am without it ALL weekend!  Well, maybe it’ll force me to not think about school all weekend- that or stress me out that I’m not prepared for next week (even though I have all my lessons planned for next week).

OH! I went to the scrapbook store yesterday right after school got out. I couldn’t wait until Saturday.  I really only bought papers to use for Porter’s albums, and I’m so excited to get some pages done.  I feel kind of dumb scrapping pages for him when he’s not even born yet, but I figure that once he’s here if I find that I don’t have the ambition to scrap much then at least I have some pages to just add the pictures to.  Make sense?

Well, I’m off to try to scrap.  I’ll update later.

  1. Lucky you! A snow day!

I think it is a great idea to scrap before Porter is here. My sis, Molly, did one for Clara Jane before she was born. My favorite one was a page that she had everybody in the family write on. We all had to write a message to Clara Jane before she was even born! I know she will LOVE it when she gets older and can read what we had to say before we knew what a cute stinker we had on our hands. 🙂
