Toni finally called last night to set up a time to come by and meet Reese. She and her husband came over about 2 hours ago and they seem like WONDERFUL people. We sat and chatted with them about their dog and our dogs and told them more about Reese. They seemed to like her and she took to them really well. Their dog, Gretchen, sounds like she’d be a perfect partner for Reese. They are going to come by tomorrow to pick Reese up and take her to their house to see how she does with Gretchen. I really hope things go well and that they decide to add her to their family. I would feel 110% comfortable with them taking her, and I know I’d never worry about how she was taken care of and where she ended up. Please pray that this works out, and that Reese can make her way into that wonderful home and we can get eased up of the stress of 4 dogs.
