The verdict is in. We took the Durango in to get estimates on whatever is wrong with it and to have it fixed. Its really undrivable without getting the repairs done. I drove it to work this am and I prayed the whole way there that I’d make it without the wheel falling off. It sounds horrible. The drive home wasn’t any better. So, after we both got home from work we took it to Trudell’s to have him look at it and fix it tomorrow. He called this evening and gave us the bad news. Its both the half shaft AND the wheel bearings. Great. Not one freaking expensive repair, but TWO. So, there goes $525. We also had to go get the battery for the Santa Fe this afternoon, but luckily Ryan got things straightened out with Dodge and I guess our owner’s manual had the wrong group code for the battery, so Sears did have a battery and we were able to use our gift card. We only had to chuck out $17 out of pocket. However, that wasn’t much to smile about after we found out how much the Durango was going to cost.
On the other hand, today was my last day teaching. They had a party in the media center for me and the other student teacher. It was a nice last day, kind of sad, but I’m glad its over. I am probably going to join them on Valentine’s Day for their bowling party, which will be at the bowling alley down the road from our house.
Well, thats about all I can report for now.

Sorry about the Durango. I hate car repairs! They are such a P.I.T.A.!!!
Congrats on finishing teaching! What comes next?
Yay!!!!!!!!!! You made it through student teaching!!! Will you substitute teach until Porter arrives now? It would be nice to make a little money, huh??!! Student teaching almost killed me…and I had to do it for an entire school year!!!
