I’m going to apply for a job. A real job. A teaching job! The Sylvan Learning Center in Jackson is looking for certified teachers for a part time tutoring position. The job sounds perfect for me- the hours are Mon-Thurs from 3:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturdays from 9-1. She said you can basically choose which days you want to work, or work all of them if available. The job would be ideal for right now- I could drop Porter off at Ryan’s work right at 3 when he gets out and be to Sylvan by 3:30. And we wouldn’t have to pay for daycare, and I’d be able to be home with Porter during the day! I figure if I get hired anywhere for a full time teaching position this fall I can use Sylvan as just my summer job and quit at the end of the summer, but if I don’t get hired anywhere I would still have this place to work at. So, pray that there aren’t a lot of other applicants and that I get lucky!!

That sounds great! You will have to let me know how it goes and what they do there. I have been interested lately in having someone help me with my twins and helping get them do better with their reading skills. I am having a heck of a time doing 2- could use some help and someone that would be nicer to them while they are learning. I get so frusterated with how unfocused they get. I am so mean. :O) Is it expensive?
