Beauty magazines are right- baby powder can buy you an extra day without a shower. I woke up at 8 this morning and called Katie, and we decided 9am was good to meet at SAU’s Fieldhouse to walk, so we could get an hour in before the boys needed to eat. Well, that left me no time for a shower. I was desperate, as I hadn’t even taken a shower the day before. Baby powder saved me from looking like a greasy pit today.
Some randomness:
- My lens came today! YAY! I am so excited to start taking pictures again. Maybe tomorrow I’ll get Ryan to help me try out some more pictures with Porter. There are a ton of poses I still want to get with him, but I just haven’t had the extra pair of hands.
- Porter and I might be taking a trip to Atlanta, if I can come up with the $$ for a plane ticket. Picture me, frantically scrapbooking every spare second I have so I can get a paycheck to buy that plane ticket. Yup, thats whats going on. I’ve got about 5 hours in so far.
Anyway, my Aunt Linda wants us to come visit, and there’s a ticket for the beginning of May that I have my eyes on. I’m a little nervous about flying with a 2 month old, but I think we’ll make it through. And, although I haven’t mentioned it to her yet (ok, so you might read it here first, Aunt Linda) I’m going to see if there’s any way we could meet Jessica at a halfway point between Kingsland and Atlanta (about a 2.5 hour drive for each of us). I figure if I’ll be all the way in GA already I really should try to meet up with her- we’ve gotten so close over the course of our frienship- it’d be so awesome to spend time with her in person instead of our nearly daily phone calls. Maybe I can just scrap a few extra hours and rent a car if I need to.
- Kim and I are ready to sell the babies on eBay. From what I hear, Morgan has been screaming in her face all day. Now Porter, on the other hand, was a perfect little angel all day. We went walking at Spring Arbor, went to Subway with Katie and Donnie and he was good all afternoon. Then his dad came home and took over parenting duty while I tried to get some scrapbook hours in, and he fussed and screamed all night. So, do you think we could get a good price on eBay for the little dudes? Heck, maybe I could just trade him for a flight to Atlanta. Hmm…

Yeah, man – he’s in bed and I’m wiped! What a long day! I forgot how tiring it is to be around a crying baby all day. He’s had tylenol twice and Hylands teething tablets as well. Of course when we went to the mall quickly, he put on his regular performance. Then when we got home, it was melt down time again. It’s 9pm and I’m heading to bed – he sucked the energy right out of me today!
Sell the babies on Ebay??!! Lmao!!!
