Bidding wars…

I found out you can buy formula on eBay- new and unopened, of course.  So I started bidding on a few auctions that seemed like good deals- saving about $20 to $30 for the formula (multiple cans being sold in each auction).  Its down to the wire on one auction- 12 minutes left.  I had bid $15 and was the top bidder.  I got outbid, and decided to up the ante a bit more to $21 (its about $46 worth of formula).  As I put in my higher bid, I pictures another frazzled mom sitting by her computer hoping to win some of this powder gold for cheaper… and I just had to laugh.  I’m sure across America there are sleep deprived mothers hunched over their computers, refreshing their screens to see if they still remain the highest bidder.  Just to save a few bucks.  LOL.  But hey, this crap is expensive and $20 is $20 right??

Crap! I just got outbid.

  1. Where are you buying your formula? What kind do you use?

With my twins I bought the giant can at Costco or Sams Club…do you have those stores? Then they started having stinking milk allergies so we had to buy the stinky soy crap. Then they could not do that and had to do rice milk from the Natural Foods Store. What a NOT FUN TIME all that was!
