A solo party, that is. Its 3am. Do you realize this? 3 am. And I’m up for Porter’s feeding but, see, Porter doesn’t want to eat. He’s thinking its party time, I suppose. He ate about half his bottle and then just chewed the nipple. I thought maybe his mouth hurt from the thrush that still hasn’t gone away (we’re going to the ped. tomorrow at 8am about this issue) so I got out his medicine dropper to see if he’d eat if I used the dropper to feed him. Nope- he ate one dropper full then the rest he let run out the side of his mouth. So, he’s now in his bed having a gay old time watching his light up musical aquarium. Wide awake, all alone, and happy as can be. Every once in awhile I hear him squawk but then he quiets back down. I thought he was asleep (I came downstairs to do a load of laundry) but when I checked on him he was just laying there. What a silly boy.
I’m a little irritated right now…I missed Desperate Housewives tonight. I don’t usually watch it when it comes on- I DVR it and watch it at the late Sunday night feeding- which would be right now. Only, when Porter and I sat down to watch the show it wasn’t on my DVR. One of three things could have happened.
1. It was a rerun and the DVR didn’t record it b/c it is set to record only new episodes
2. My husband turned off the DVR when it tried to switch channels to record.
3. It wasn’t on at all last night
I’m thinking either #2 or #3 happened, since now that I’m thinking about it I think I have it set up to record ALL Desperate Housewives episodes. I’m a little upset right now. This is not a good night. Porter is up, awake and not wanting to eat AND I missed my show. AND I have to be up in 2.5 hours to get ready to go to Porter’s doctor’s appointment at 8am.

Desperate Housewives wasn’t on last night and Gray’s Anatomy was a rerun. So, good news is, you didn’t miss anything.

Hey Nicole. It’s Shauna (babygirlss from SJ). I read your blog all the time! Uhm Desperate Housewives wasn’t on at all. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was on from 8-10 and then straight to the Grey’s Anatomy rerun. You didnt miss a thing and your DVR didnt mess up either!
