Baby Einstein.
Porter loves his Baby Einstein videos and laughs and smiles and kicks while its playing. Its my new helper while I get in the shower or get things done around the house. He usually has enough attention span to watch just about one whole video (30 minutes).
Last night Porter was pretty cranky. He had slept a lot throughout the day and woke up around 8. By 9:15 he was kind of fussy, but we wanted to keep him up until his next feeding at 10. So, we popped in a Baby Einstein video and he was happy and content.
Ryan and I sat huddled close to him, watching his funny expressions, his excitement, his joy.
I turned to Ryan and said "Who would have ever thought our idea of a great Saturday night would consist of watching Baby Einstein with a 2 month old?"
We both laughed, shrugged and turned back to the happy little guy watching his video.

At least it’s not Barney! My daughter was stuck on Barney the purple dinosaur! I thought I would die – I knew all the songs!!! I love you – you love me etc…. But over all it was a good video and they taught good things.
Awww! I can’t wait to see him smile and laugh! 🙂
