I wanted to look into a music/singing/dancing class for Porter and I to go to. Kindermusik was the first thing that popped in mind- Jackson doesn’t have much to offer for kids stuff, but I remember awhile back I took Aria to a Kindermusik class when Lauren couldn’t make it. I think Porter would really love it. I found a few local Kindermusik teachers that have classes, there ARE some in Jackson, only they don’t offer the infant class. I found a class in Ann Arbor- and of course the classes are during the school year and in the mornings only. Bummer. I did email the lady to see if she ever offered weekend classes.
I guess for now I’m going to see what the library offers as far as baby/toddler storytimes. They might have something I can do until I start working this fall (no… I have no job yet… other than preschool with Aria and I think I’m just going to sub on Tues/Thurs…).
Kinda makes me sad that once I start working (hopefully teaching) I won’t be able to do all those mommy things with Porter during the day. I’ll just have to cram all that in during the summers.

I’m sorry. I keep forgetting. Do you want to work because you really want to get out there and finally teach after all your schooling or do you have to teach because you & Ry need the money?? Could you see staying home with Porter and your next baby say…the next 4yrs and then teach full time?? Or you just want to stay active?? I’m home all day now after having worked day care and other jobs in the past and I miss adult interaction, but it makes balancing time with our family easier too. I guess it depends on how much you can stand being home a lot too.
