Barbie requested smiling pictures of the senior from last weeks session….
I was going to post this last night, but forgot….
Its been raining for days here, and on my way home yesterday there were two rainbows in the sky. As soon as I got home I ran inside and grabbed my camera. Its hard to see the second rainbow, its on the outside of the dark rainbow.
I won’t be posting this weekend… (I bet you’re relieved, huh, Kristi? Maybe you can get caught up?) We’re going to Van Buren/South Haven to camp with the Morrisons. We’ve barely camped the last two years, so I’m really excited to be going. The weather is supposed to be really nice. Heather just had her wisdom teeth pulled this morning, so I’m hoping she recovers quick and will enjoy the weekend.
Only 3 more days until Les and Jade find out if Baby Collins is a girl or a boy. I’m so so so excited for Monday. I told her I’d better be on her top 5 call list…. There are so so so many babies due in the next few months….
- My friend Lisa is due in October with a little girl- Annabel (not sure if thats the correct spelling), as well as one of the 1st grade teachers at Bean.
- Ry’s friend, Scott and his fiance are having a little girl, Madison, in November
- Jess is having a little girl, Hailey, in December, as well as my friend Amanda (having a girl)
- Denise is due… uhm… January I think it is, with a little boy, Gavin.
- Leslie is due the beginning of February
- Oh who else… oh the kindergarten teacher at Bean is due in April. And a little guy in my class is going to have a new sibling next spring also (woah… our hallway at school is loaded with babies… yikes! Keep that water far away from me!
Lots of babies… girl babies! So, in a way I have a feeling Leslie and Jade will have a little boy just because there are SO many girl babies due. But I’ve always had a hunch she’s having a girl… i guess we’ll see!

Speaking of lots of babies…. on Sunday we went to Dearborn to Ryan’s sister’s house for our niece’s first birthday. (Happy Birthday Brenna!). Would you believe there were NINE kids there…. all under the age of THREE??? [Lia, Shae, Brenna] [Jack, Alana] [Joe, Grace] [Porter] and [Emma] Yes, it was a little, tiny, itsy bitsy bit crazy there.
Here are a few pictures (Lori and Cathy, I’ll upload these to the Mpix account so you can get whatever ones you want).
Well, not much else for me to write about. If I think of anything before we leave tomorrow, I’ll add it. If not, I’ll be back next week with lots of pictures, I’m sure.

Awesome rainbow pictures Nicole! You got somt great shots!
Lots of babies being born. Everyone tells me we are the only ones having a boy so it must be something in the water! (oh, and Gavin is due in January – the 27th)
Hope you have a great weekend camping! Take lots of pictures!
I love the rainbow pictures. Hopefully it will be done raining by the time I come home tonight. It has been raining here a little, but it’s also been in the 90’s no the 60’s.
You are right. Lot’s of babies are being born. I can hardly wait for Monday.
Have fun camping over the weekend.
