Sweet Revenge
Ryan had class tonight… his first "real" college class.

The first thing he said to me when he came home…

"I’m so sorry for anything I said to you when you were in school… about college being easy"

WOWOWOWOWOW. See… throughout my 5 (or was it 6) years of school, Ryan always acted like I had it easy… that working 20-30 hours a week, taking care of the house and errands and going to school full time was so simple.  That it was a piece of cake.  We had many arguments about this.  He just didn’t "get it" and there was no way for me to explain it to him unless he went through it himself. 

Well, he’s feeling the pressure.  He is overwhelmed, shocked at how much work is involved in going to college (and this is just ONE class… he has two others this semester!)

He told me "You were right.  Its not as easy as it looks.  You handled it so well…"

I asked for that in writing, but he declined. 

Ahhh paybacks are sweeeet.  Honey, I know you can do it- I have faith in you.  It is hard, there is a lot of work involved.(and a fair share of pointless reading and meaningless busy work)… but it will be worth it in the end.  Keep your chin up, hang in there… one night down… how many more to go??
