Halloween sneak peek…

We took Porter to a Halloween Party (Fall Festival??) at a local school.  Katie’s cousins kids (got that?) go there and Katie asked us to go along with them.  Porter’s costume was a hit. We got compliments galore, lots of oohs and aaah (ok, more like "awwwww"s) and were asked numerous times if we were entering him in the costume contest.  One lady asked and said "I’m running the contest, and I love his costume."  However, the contest was at 7:45 and by 7:00 Porter was falling apart and we left. 

So…. you are wondering exactly what this costume is, right?  Well… here it is…

The feet look retarted in the picture, he didn’t have his shoes on to position them right.  But anyway, isn’t he the cuuuutest little chicken rooster dude? 

He ended up looking like he got into some kind of cock-fight today…. (uhm… going along with the rooster theme, ok?).  Porter loves his big huge dump truck that Barbie and Simon got him when he was born.  Its a really nice metal one, and Simon was determined to find him a "good metal one" like his boys had when they were little.  Well, Porter loves it- awesome gift.  He loves to stand next to it and push it and lay next to it and roll it back and forth.  However, today he got in a fight with it and the truck won.  It toppled over and cracked him on the bridge of his nose.  He has a little cut there, and I was sure it’d be bruised up, but its not (yet).   It doesn’t look too bad in the picture, but it really does look yucky.  Poor abused little guy..

And, some more pictures.  This fall has been really hit-or-miss with the weather.  Its either really gorgeous or really rainy and cold.  Yesterday was gorgeous, and I’m glad I took P out and took some pictures in the leaves.  For some reason all of our leaves are yellow and green… no reds, oranges and yellows this year??? Today its rainy rainy rainy.  I’m so over the rain.  It seems like thats all its done this month is rain.
