Yay. My computer is home, and working. My files are backed up (all except my Photoshop Actions… and my emails….) and I did the system restore today to wipe out my computer. Started from ground zero again… for the second time in 4 months. Ugh. Computers. Love em and hate em.
So… I bought an external harddrive and my computer is backed up on that. It seems pretty neat… it’ll automatically update any files I change when I change them, and I can do a full back up every once in awhile if I want to. I can schedule these backups too… so I don’t have to try to remember!
I’m in the process of putting all of my software/applications back on my computer… its taking FOREVER. I’m also backing up Porter’s last 3 months of pictures…which were NOT backed up on disk when my computer went haywire (thank goodness for the Geek Squad who saved them!). The pictures are taking forever to save… I have a TON. Like 2 to 3 disks for each month. Ugh.
Well, thats my quick update. Its 1:30am and I’m beat. I will post pictures and Christmas updates tomorrow.

I’m glad your computer is up and working again & that they were able to save your files. I spent the weekend uploading all of my pics to Scrapbookpictures.com as a secondary back-up for all of mine.
Thank goodness, I hate that feeling that everything is lost!
