Yes, yes it has. I have a ton of things to blog about, and I’m thinking I might break them up into days. I have all these ideas, and then by the time I get to the computer I’ve either forgotten them or am to tired to work out my ideas into writing.
So, I’ll try a little harder to get things blogged. This is my "journal" is it not? I should be documenting a whole lot more than I have.

How do people live without washers in their homes?
We’ve been without a washer for over 2 weeks. I have NO idea how people live without washers. We just have far too many clothes to haul to other locations to wash. I’ve taken laundry to Heather’s twice, and while I’m eternally grateful for her sharing her washer… it SUCKS (nooo… not the washer… the whole "hauling loads of dirty clothes here and there… HAHA!).
Our appliances are protected through Consumer’s appliance plan (our electricity/gas provider… we pay extra each month and our appliances are covered for repairs). When it went out, I called and they had an appliance company call us and come out. It took them nearly a week to get here, and then the guy said he needed to order a timer for it. Another few days later they call and we make the appointment for today, Tursday, for them to come put the new part in… thus giving us the freedom to wash our clothes in our own home. Well, I got a call today from the appliance company… the part they received from Maytag was broken, so they’ve had to reorder it and put it on a rush. So much for having clean clothes for our trip this weekend! (more on that later). UGHHH.

Yeah, makes me sound kind of white trashy like, but it just SOOO reminds me of…well… me. Not the situation, but the "getting even". I am totally capable of bitchiness like that… and those who know me well know that I’ve gotten myself into some major trouble because of it. HAHAH!

I saved 15% on my car insurance!
Well… actually MORE! After we had to make a claim on our insurance last year when Ryan’s dad drove our Santa Fe into a camper, our insurance went up $40 a month. A MONTH! After a year of that we should have just paid out of our pocket to have the hood fixed (We had a $500 deductible, so after that was paid, insurance only forked over about $600).
Anyway, the other night I was shopping around online and looking for cheaper insurance… and Progressive Direct (who we have our camper insured through) was $60 cheaper a month! And that was with a lower deductible! Dig it!
Cheeky Little Monkeys Get Together..
Yesterday we had our second "official" CLM get-together. Unfortunately, it was pretty much the "regulars" who made it. We were really looking forward to meeting our newest member, Ashley and her little girl Tiegan, but Tiegan ended up being sick. We can’t wait to meet them. Lisa and Angel were MIA… unable to make it. Our next meet-up is probably going to be a Moms-Night-Out… I think one of those is definitely in order.
