This post is going to happen in parts… maybe over the next few days. Because I have a lot to write, and I surely don’t want to bore/drown/scare my readers! LOL!
First off….Happy Birthday Ryan! Friday was my hubby’s 26th birthday. He skipped work, and we spent the day…… packing. For our weekend. Fun, huh? LOL. I would post a picture of him… but do you think I have a decent one? Nope. He refuses to let me photograph him. Dork.
Next on the list is…. our weekend getaway! The Morrisons invited us to join them at the Huff’s parent’s cabin (yeah… follow that one HAHA!) up north for the weekend. Of course we were all over that.
The drive up was kind of yucky… Michigan decided to dump lots of snow on us over the weekend. However, we made it up safe and sound (although Heather and Ryan, who left a little later than us… got most of the really bad weather… and had to drive pretty slow)
The cabin was… awesome. Seriously a work of art. And I should have expected it, as Mary Jo’s house here in Jackson is quite a work of art itself. Why wouldn’t her cabin? I wish I had the guts to decorate my house this way. So whimsical and fun and artistic. Here are a few… err… many… pictures. I pretty much documented every darn room! LOL.
Pretty darn awesome, huh?
We had a great, relaxing weekend. We played games, the guys went "sledding" (snowmobiling… thats the term I’ve always used) and watched a movie on Saturday night. It was nice and relaxing.
Well… more later. Be sure to check out my photography blog for some pics of the boys in the cabin…

That is a CABIN??? Yeah right, its decorated better than my house! lol!
Holy CRAP that is the coolest place!!! I wanna go there! :O)
Waaay cool. Awesome photos!
Happy Birthday, Ryan!!!
It looks like it came right out of a magazine. Way cool! You know me, I’d pay to stay there. I’m so glad you were able to get away from everything.
