Here’s just a quick rundown of our Easter….

I was up far too late last night (2:30am!!) trying to get two sessions proofed, galleries loaded and ready for clients today.  It has been taking me FAR too long to do this…. but its not my fault.  My computer is old (going on 5 years!) and lately its been getting really really slow.  I don’t blame it… I can’t tell you how many thousands of pictures I have on this poor machine.  Anyhow, it was a late night.

I had all intentions of going to church this morning.  I really wanted to. They were doing baptisms, and at Westwinds the baptisms are so so so cool.   Absolutely awesome, open and moving.  I wanted to, this year, take part in it as a spectator.  However, I was dead tired, and instead I lounged at home all morning feeling guilty.  I hate feeling guilty for not going to church.

The Easter Bunny brought Porter the coooolest sucker thingy.

This morning we helped Porter dye easter eggs. Let me tell you, that was fun stuff.  (taste the sarcasm?)    We first tried at the table, but after about half a second we realized it wasn’t going to work… Porter wanted the balls.  He wanted to splash them in the dye.  He wanted to dunk his hands in the dye.  So, I don’t know where the idea came from (I’ll tell you, though, I’m sure
it was somewhere online) to do this, but I decided to put the toddler
in the tub with the eggs and the dye and let him go to town.  It actually wasn’t as bad as it sounds (ok, so we did dump out the orange dye all over my pajama pants and the bathroom floor, but that wasn’t really Porter’s fault).   I’m sure you’re dying to see the pictures…

The second one… its not pee… I swear.  Porter dumped the yellow dye out.

After Porter’s afternoon nap, we went to my moms for a pot roast.  Yum. Pretty uneventful… just hung out with the fam.  Here’s Porter and Aubri in their Easter best…

  1. Porter and Aubri look so cute next to each other! Love the bunny ears headband. I didn’t think to let Tiegan dye eggs in the tub — we just let her do it in her high chair!

  2. Looooove the idea of dying easter eggs in the tub! I wish I would have thought of that….instead I oppted out of the entire thing.
