Got any encouragement to spare?

Just a quick little post to say…

I freaking went freaking running to freaking day!

Go me! Go me!

Yeah, well, I didn’t run all that much, it was more of a "run and walk" type of thing.  Gotta get those muscles back in shape, right?  It wasn’t AS horrible as I thought it’d be, but it wasn’t as fun as I remembered running being.  (maybe because I’m pushing an additional 35lbs of stroller/kid?).

I’m really hoping I can stay motivated to run at least 3 nights a week.  And walk the other nights.  My mom and I went walking the last 2 nights, about 2.5 miles each evening.  Tonight I just had a fire lit under my butt and decided I needed to get back into running.  Father’s day weekend it will be exactly 2 years since the last time I honest-to-goodness had a good hard run.  It was the weekend I found out I was pregnant with Porter, and I had a long run on the beach of Lake Michigan. 

I hate being jiggly.  I hate being flabby.  I hate that I still look poochy pregnant even though my kid is 14 months old!  I have GOT to tone it up, or I’ll be miserable in Florida.

  1. You Go Girl! Once you get into it and start doing it more…Im sure you will enjoy it more and feel better about it.
