All evening I kept thinking about things and thought I’d end up with a pretty interesting post tonight. Now that I’ve sat down to the computer, I haven’t a clue as to what I wanted to write about.
I guess I’ll just type, and hopefully it’ll come back to me.
I went to a teacher appreciation dinner at work tonight. The PTA put this on for the teaching staff at Bean, and it was catered by Davis’ (by which I was not impressed by at ALL… chunks of bones in the chicken, corn tasted like frozen microwaved corn ick!). It was a nice gesture, and it was great to hang out with the people I work with and have a chance to actually chat with them!
Afterwards I went to the mall and Walmart (which, in our hick town happen to be connected). I got a couple new t-shirts from Gap and a new purse (I had all intentions of linking you to these items, however, they aren’t online… clearanced items, of course). I had kind of a depressing shopping day, again. Its the boob thing, I tell ya. The 2 shirts I got at Gap, well, they’re very much a scoop neck. A deep scoop neck. Cute! But, my bra is so honking big that it sticks out just a tad from the neck. UGH! So, I thought, I’ll go shop for a new bra. Maybe something a little lower, less coverage. Well, I know Wal-Mart isn’t the best place to shop for a bra (ok, I’ll admit, I only buy my bras at Target… I can NOT justify dropping $50 on a VS bra. No way!), but I couldn’t even FIND MY SIZE at Wal-Mart. I found 38DD, but no 34DD. I’m not that big around the ribcage, and apparently if you have monstrous boobs, you must have a wide ribcage/torso whatever. UGH! So, yet again, I was let down. Depressing. And THEN I tried on this super cute tank top (Jess, I’m assuming this is something like what you got, cause it doesn’t fit snugly…err except in the boob area LOL), and what do you know, my bra is TOTALLY showing out all sides of the top. I can’t go up sizes in shirts as they’ll be too big in the shoulders/torso area. Its just these boobs!! I can’t take it anymore.
Oh yeah, so that was the interesting stuff I was going to post.
OH! I also remembered…. I booked our flight to Orlando for June! I got a freaking awesome deal… both of our tickets came to a total of $307. Is that not awesome or what? We’re going for 12 days/11 nights and I can NOT wait. Now we just need to book a rental car and find someone to watch the dogs (mooooommmm….????). Maybe we should buy a dog kennel to keep them in during the days. Hmm.
Well, for now I think thats all I can think of. I may be back… we’ll see.

Sorry you had such bad luck shopping. I feel the same way about jeans. I do, however, think that VS bras are worth every dang penny you spend on them and they last forever. However, I’m the type that needs help in that area so I figure it’s cheaper than a boob job, right? LOL!
