Never mind that it probably BARELY hit 70* today… Porter thought it was perfectly acceptable to run through the sprinkler in his clothes. I moved the sprinkler to the side yard to water some areas we’re trying to get grass to grow in thicker. I didn’t think Porter would actually play in the sprinkler!
He spent a good 45 minutes doing this… running in and standing there, cracking up. I would never have guessed that he’d like the sprinkler! It seems like most little ones I’ve ever known (mostly from working at the daycare years ago) didn’t like to go in the sprinkler. Well, not Porter.
It was a bit chilly in the shade today (and around 6pm when we went on a walk, we wore sweatshirts… so that should tell you how warm it was!) but the sprinkler was making this kid happy, so have at it. If this is what it takes to get the whining to stop, we’re going to have some raisin toes this summer.
Get ready for a slew of pictures… cause I took a ton. (and I’ll also post some from the Cheeky Little Monkey’s playdate on Wednesday, but you can also check out Heather’s blog for more too…)
Porter got stuck right by the sprinkler and freaked out… (the sprinkler is right behind the tree stump). Of course, I stood there taking pictures before I went to rescue him.
This is for Ryan….. Aria gave Porter a dandelion. Awwww. (and you’ll love to know I let your son run around like this for about 10 minutes! HAHA!)
Dang, bully! I don’t know what the heck he thinks he was doing… but it surely looks like he’s shoving and kicking Aria right in the shin!! Hmmm… Well, she doesn’t look too concerned.
And, last but not least, the playdate pictures…
Jocelyn getting hit on by Sawyer and Porter
Savannah and Corbin
And more of my poor landscaping being abused… is there some sort of magnet that draws kids to my landcaping?!?
Sawyer having a blast on the swing
Aubrey sharing a flower with Sawyer Awwww..
The playthings definitely got some use out of them!

Fantastic photos!
