I went to the tanner today. We’re going to Florida at the end of June, and I want to be tan. Makes you appear thinner, right? Ryan and Porter got me a tanning package so today I went for my second tan. The girl asked if I wanted to buy tanning lotion, it is 40% off until tomorrow. I asked her what one she would recommend… I never use tanning lotion in the tanner. I only go to the tanner like once a year…. usually in the spring either before vacation or just to get a little fake tan pick me up.
So, she suggested 4 of them from the top shelf. I smelled them, and still had no idea what to go with, so I asked what she’d pick. She pointed to the top two on the far left…. and said she personally uses one, but really recommends the other also. So, I figured, hey, I’ll get it. It looked fancy schmancy…. the bottle was like a faux glass potion bottle.
She rings me up, and says "Your total is $59.blah blah blah"
WHAT! Fifty nine dollars…. AFTER the 40% off??? "Yes, it’s $90 regularly"
Choke choke choke!! I felt embarrassed that I even fondled the $17 cash sitting in my pocket. That would barely put a dent in the total!
Of course, I told her I didn’t want it… I picked out one that was $18 (AFTER the 40% off… oh my word!!).
I can not believe that. Note to self… never pick the lotions on the top shelf. And ask for a price… or you may be offering up one of your kidneys for a down payment!

OMG this made me laugh out loud! Too funny! Just fyi I thought I would let you know that I have my cosmetology license so I can get tanning lotions at cost. So next time you buy them let me know and I will get you some at my cost. The mark up on those in tanning salons is about 75%. yeah can you say RIP OFF! Oh well I guess thats how they make their money! I thought of you today because I drove around town looking at garage sales.. had to drive to each house like an ogre because im still really sore. But anyway my question was are you still looking for a old rustic chair? If you havent found one let me know and ill go take a pic of the one I saw today… that is if its still there I think they wanted like 3 bucks. I LOVE garage sales! They wouldnt dare charge 59 dollars for lotion! LOL Talk to you soon, Also when can we reschedule my ordering consult?!

Where do you go tanning? I go to Bronze Villa (when I DO go, which is rarely if you can’t tell by looking at my pale butt). And yeah, I was waiting in line the other day so I thought I’d peruse the lotions… and thought… #@*&$^@#*$&^@#)(*!!!!!
