I’ll just jot down a few things, and then get straight to the goodies… our family photos with Jessica.
- Flight this afternoon went well. Note to self: just suck up the extra $$ and buy Porter his own seat on the plane. Better yet, ship him with the pet cargo and rid yourself of the hassle of dealing with a toddler on the plane. Hmm… that might not go over too well. Maybe just leave him at home.
- I finally got in touch with the principal and my interview was rescheduled for tomorrow morning, 9am. I haven’t studied one bit today, and honestly I just don’t care. I’m so not in the "interview" mindset.
- I loaded all my pictures onto the desktop (this network thing is SWEET… I was able to "drag and drop" from the laptop to the desktop. Thanks to Ryan Morrison!!) Would you believe that, even AFTER deleting many many many pictures that I know I won’t print (such as a lot that were taken by Jess of her kids/her vacation)… I still have close to 3,000 pictures from this vacation? Yeah, thats what you get when you put two photographers together on vacation…
- We spent a little time at Lori and Don’s this afternoon after Lori picked us up at the airport. Had a great time watching the girls splash around in the pool. I took pics (yeah, MORE pictures!!), and will post a few LATER…
Now, onto our family photos… I am dying to share a few. Basically, we pretty much did 3 separate sessions…. one at Mead Gardens (that didn’t go over too well), one at Mary Ann’s house (beautiful yard), and one at the Maitland Art Center (super cool location). So, you can imagine we have lots of pictures to go through. There are also a TON of super hilarious pictures… let me tell you, I make some CRAZY faces being on the other side of the camera (not that I don’t make crazy faces when I’m behind the camera HAHA!). I think I will do a post with a little collage of some of the outtakes from our sessions.
During our sessions, Jess and I kept saying to eachother… "People PAY us for this awful awkward feeling of being on this side of the camera? And we expect them to "act natural and carefree?" Woah wee… it was so interesting to finally be on THAT side of the camera. However, as usual, the end results are fabulous. Check out what she captured from us….
(Post processing was done by me. I’ll post pictures from THEIR session later on my photography blog)

Beautiful pictures! Cannot wait to see more (especially the outtakes:) Glad you had a safe & peaceful trip home & good luck on the interview.
