Sunday Sunday… Lazy Sunday.

I am sitting here in my filth, my unshowered, unkempt filth.  HAHA!  Ok, so I’m not THAT bad, but seriously, we did NOTHING today.  Porter watched way too much TV (aka EIEIO… his beloved Baby Einstein DVD’s… I’m tellin all you new moms… they’re worth the money!!), Ry did mow the lawn and make two trips to Menards, I spent the day cleaning the house up (so much dog hair and lots of Porter food prints all over) and messing around with Blurb Book.  I’m making my blog into books… annual books.  Today I worked on my 2005 book (which will be 108 pages long!!!) and once I have that done and ordered I’m going to get 2006 around.  I am going to switch over to Blogger.com for my blog, so eventually this Typepad blog will be history.  I can’t stand the thought of losing my last 2 years of "journaling" so the Blurb Book was a perfect solution.  Its REALLY easy to do also, so if you have any interest, check it out!  Its free to use, create, design, etc… you only pay when you publish/print your finished book.  And, you don’t have to do it all at once, you can work on it a bit and come back to it later.  Oh listen to me sounding like some Blurb Book advertisement! HAHA!

I’m slowly, SLOWLY, but surely getting through my Disney pictures.  6 more 4 more days to go, which won’t be TOO bad.  It was that horrid first day at Magic Kingdom that killed me… I think Jess and I went psychotic and took pictures of EVERYTHING, including stupid pictures of ourselves HAHA!  Well, let me share some, because seriously, why else did we take them?

This last one here, the guy in the plaid
shirt… well, see, we saw him around Disney with his totally rad WOMAN glasses
on, and you could just tell he thought he was the shit.  So, Jess and I
were sitting on the bench waiting for the guys at the Tower of Terror.  I
said, Hey, Jess, hold up your water bottle!  (can you see in the pic…
the blurry to the left… her water bottle… to the right… I think thats her
ear).  I snapped the pic and viola!  Super cool Woman Dude.

  1. So glad you found that Blurb Book stuff! How great is it that they do blogs like that?! It’s so cool, I think I might have to do that just to have a book copy of my blog year by year too! I’ve always thought how horrible it would be if by some strange chance something happened to my blog and I lost all those recorded memories.
Can’t wait to see how yours turns out!

  2. I’ve been meaning to make my 2006 blurb book, also. I’m just wondering how involved this process will be (time). I saw part of somebody’s blurb book once, but I don’t remember them having their logo on the photos (but they did on their blog). How does this work? Do you have your name on all of your blurb photos? Just wondering.

  3. thanks for sharing the blurb book link. that is awesome! i’ve had to change blogs twice and printing them off stunk! great pictures of you guys…you couldn’t tell you were having fun at all!

  4. i am so glad you did this post! I ran across them a while back and keep thinking about them and could NOT remember who the crap they were- SO THANK YOU!!! It is funny that you would post this with this being on my mind this week- i keep thinking that i have slacked on printing my posts and putting them in a binder—–I would much rather have this to keep than a stinky binder! :O) Thanks!
