Porter stayed the night at his Nana and Papa’s house last night… I had a session and Ryan was golfing so they were babysitting him. I also had a doctors appointment this morning, so we just asked them to keep him overnight so I didn’t have to find a sitter for him in the morning. He did really good… they said he went to sleep at 8 and woke up around 8:15am. Good Boy!!
After I picked him up this morning we headed for Target (where else!!). I found this gem of a shirt on the clearance rack for $2.98. Love it!
This afternoon I took a ton of pictures of Porter and the dogs outside… this one is my FAVORITE. I love love love it. Samson is getting older, and we know he won’t be around much longer… and I just love the sweet expression on Porter’s face, cheesin at his doggy.
And a few more silly ones for good measure…
Now this one I also love… Ramsey and Zoey were playing around, jumping and pouncing at eachother (more like, Zoey was trying to get SOMEONE, anyone, to chase her around the yard) and Porter was trying to join in…. He was trying to bark and growl with them. Yeah, I know Zoey looks like she’s about to bite someones head off… I promise, they were playing and Porter was totally safe HAHA!
Porter getting rolled over by Ramsey… he is cracking up so hard in this picture!
and Mama Dog watching over baby boy. Zoey has, from day one, been like
the Mama Dog to Porter… she’d go running to his crib when he cried,
lay near him, just very into his noises. I was picking up dog logs in
the yard and looked over to see Porter playing in the rocks by the
firepit and Zoey, sitting next to him watching his every move. So
cute! Luckily I had my camera outside on the slide so I grabbed it to
snap a few…
And here, here is my hillbilly (or "ghetto-billy") husband and son… Ryan was going to take the riding lawn mower down to my mom’s house to keep it in her garage to clean out our shed a bit, and he originally was going to drive it over in his dads truck. Well, my mom lives like 3 blocks away, and I was wanting Ry to keep Porter out of the house after dinner so I could clean the sty. Ryan says "How ghettobilly do you want your husband to be?" I said "As little as possible" He asks "Well, what do you think about if I drove the tractor down to your moms and took Porter with me?" Me: "Hmm, that’ll work… its Vandercook Lake, after all. As long as you let me take a picture!"
Well… then he went to get dressed and came out laughing… he put on his Dukes of Hazzard t-shirt to add a little spice to the hillbilly-ness! Oh oh oh man.

“Just two good ole’ boys-never meanin’ no harm” Ha! That is too funny!
Now I missed the pics of your circus, um I mean neighbors before Ryan made you take them down. You need to do some more of that trick photography 🙂 The kind you did in Disney of ‘She-Man w/ the glasses’
My neighbor and I were sitting in his garage at the time we noticed a man and baby on a “LAWN MOWER” riding down the street. I said, “Who the heck is taking his kid for a ride down the street–our street” (because it is a dead end.) Then he happened to wave at us and I said, “Oh my —it is Ryan and Porter!!!” Ha Ha Thank you so much Ryan for cleaning out my garage. Very nice of you!!!!!!!
Those are some sweet pictures you got of P and the dogs… Great memories captured!!
