AAAAACCCCKKKK!

Could it be that the horror, the pain, the agony, the hell of post-childbirth has finally worn off and pregnancy amnesia has set in?

Could it be that I’m on hard core street drugs and have had a brain transplant and forgotten that I have an 18 month old that has been driving me crazy lately?

Could I be insane at thinking these things seeing that I’ve barely
given the thought of finding a full time job a second glance?  (Not to mention we live in a tiny house, which isn’t selling, and my drown-me-now student loans are about to kick in soon)

Could it be that I forgot the hellacious porn-star boobs that I bore along with my child?

Could it be that maybe, just maybe, hanging out with all these sweet little ones in my sessions is starting to grow on me?

Could it be that my husband is finally wearing me down on the idea of a second child? (let me tell you, he’s been pressing the idea for months now…)

Because, well, the thought of our family of 3 growing to a family of 4 is starting to sound so sweet.

Damn.  I think I have baby fever.  FRICK!

  1. Welcome to the club. I have baby fever too. And the only thing holding me back is Jocelyn’s room being too small to hold 2 cribs. LOL.

  2. I know!! It’s starting to get to me too… being around a few newborn/infants here is getting me all goo goo. We’re in deep discussion of the V word soon though for Ryan, as I KNOW rationally I don’t want to go through that again. Baby yes, pregnancy childbirth and recovery, NO!

But for you? Just do it!!

  3. Don’t feel bad, I think baby fever hit when Olivia turned, um 1, actually I think a little before that. Oh well. There is nothing sweeter than a tiny little one!! I think that we are going to start in a couple of months. I’m really banking on that whole, the second child is completely opposite from the first. If that’s not the case, we will stop at 2!!! Good luck with your decision, the more the merrier, right?!?

  4. I have to say I have a small case as well, although hearing the chaos that is going down upstairs right now re: earplugs/bathtime, I might reconsider that.

  5. Its hit me too!! We were planning on trying to start in July, but a few medical problems are holding us up for a couple more months! =(. But we are hoping for the O.K. to try starting in October!! We no longer have the ‘cuddle me, kiss me, rock me’ babies anymore, they are ‘carry me, do-it-myself, eat when I want to eat’ toddlers.
