Red Robin makes ’em strong….

Heather and I went to Red Robin tonight for some yummy onion rings and a drink.  I ordered my regular… a frozen margarita with sugar not salt.  It arrived, not as frozen as I liked it and VERY strong.  I shuddered with every sip.  However, I did manage to drink it all, munching those delicious onion rings and chatting and gossiping with Heather.  We had arrived at 9:15 and they closed at 10 so we were kind of kicked out by the time we were done eating.  As we paid, I told Heather I probalby needed her to drive.  Well, definitely.  I’ve had  "a" drink before along with food and sat and chatted for awhile and been totally fine, but this margarita kicked my butt and I was feeling a little loopy.

So, as we headed for the door, I noticed Heather getting out her keys.  I rambled on about how I definitely needed her to drive, and I got out my keys to hand to her.  She brushed off my request and I continued to hand her my keys as we walked toward the parking lot.

I said "No, really, I need you to drive."

She looked at me and said "Well, I DID drive here, so why are you handing me YOUR keys?"

HAHAHA!  Give me a break!  One freaking margarita and I couldn’t even remember that I hadn’t drove there?  HAHAHA!

So, now we’re back at her house, sipping rum and cokes and contemplating calling it a night.

  1. You are too funny!
That is all my kids have been singing this week ‘Red Robin, YUMMMM!’ I think that is where we may take Lydia for her bday next Tuesday. (I’ll have to try their margaritas)
