On my way to work today on the radio there was this weird commercial. I can’t remember the commercial but they said "Pop Machine" and I, for some reason, thought- that just sounds so WEIRD. Now, I’ve always said "pop" and everyone up here in Michigan says "pop", however, last summer I visited Maria in SC and they all say "soda" down there. So, I started to try to say "soda". Most of the time, since last summer, I do say "soda", but every once in awhile "pop" will roll off my tongue. Now you’ll forever be noticing when people say "soda" or "pop", thanks to me haha!
Well, on Scrapjazz, Kayla posted this quiz that reminded me of "soda" and "pop". Go ahead, take it. See what type of English you speak!
