Oh my goodness!

I can’t remember what I was going to title this post. I had it all planned out… what I wanted to write about and everything.  But now I forgot.  I’m blank here.

Anyway… uhm…  yeah.  Tomorrow Porter and I are going to CeaserLand with Heather and her two kiddos.  I’m excited to get out of the house.  I need a mental break from house-hunting (which Ryan is driving me nuts with- he won’t admit that we need to NOT sell our house), job hunting, taking care of baby and the house.  I need to Get. Out!  CeaserLand, for those of you who aren’t familiar with it, is kind of like Chuck E. Cheese… except it has a much larger indoor play area.  It also has a padded play area for toddlers/babies.  I bet Porter will like to roll around in there!  I’ll be taking my camera, and you betcha I’ll post pictures later. 

Porter is going to be crawling soon. I just know it.  On his belly he can turn a complete 360 using his arms, and just the last few days he’s been getting up on his knees.  The blanket always slides out from underneath him, but I’m sure soon he’ll be crawling all over.  I’m scared.   

He’s doing really good with sitting up lately.  I am able to leave him on the floor, sitting, while I do dishes or laundry or whatever.  He’ll play for a half an hour to 45 minutes or so.  Poor guy, twice today I forgot to put a pillow behind him and he flopped backwards and cracked his head on the hardwood floor. I felt horrible!  He has a hard head, though, he’s kinda used to bonking it on the floor.  Good thing he’s a tough guy. 

Hmm… what else is new in Porter’s World?  He grabs at everything lately… last week I was making a pie and he was sitting in his Bumbo Seat on the counter and twisted around and grabbed the mixing bowl and pulled it up to his mouth to chew on it.  Crazy kid! 

I thought there was something else I was going to say… but can’t remember now.  Guess I’ll post later if I can remember!
