Last nice day for awhile?

Today was actually pretty relaxing… Porter was a bit whiny this morning.  He woke up a little early, and by 11 he was whining and being a pill. So, he had lunch and went to bed by 11:45.  He didn’t sleep long, and was up by 2.  I did, however, have time to place a clients order and get in the shower.  After he got up (I left him to play in his crib for awhile while I dried my hair and did my makeup) we went to run some errands. 

First we dropped off a clients order and chatted with Carrie for a bit. 

Then we headed to Best Buy to return the monitor I bought last week.  I just ordered a new one online… we’re going to go pick it up in the morning.

After that we went to TJ Max and Target to exchange some capris and to look for sandals for Porter.  I just don’t care for the boy sandals.  Target has about 15 different pairs of girl shoes and only about 4 for boys.  That makes me mad.

On the way home we stopped by the Betsy Butterfield park to play for a little bit (I have some cute pictures.. but I’ll add them later once I edit them on the new monitor).  Its supposed to AUGHHH… SNOW tomorrow morning, so I thought we should enjoy the nice weather while we have it.  Porter climbed up the big play structure and pretty much camped out at the top of the big slide and watched these 3 girls play on the swing. He’s so funny.

Ryan was cooking dinner for us when we got home… Italian Marinated Chicken with Rice and corn and garlic bread (yeah, I know those things don’t all "go together" but we like to roll like that).

Porter had his first night without a bottle tonight.  He had his milk in a Nuby cup and was totally fine with it. So, no more bottles.  (I told you it was all just for me… HAHA!).  After his "milk" I decided we should go on a quick walk through the neighborhood.  It was just still so nice out, and I wanted Porter to stay up a bit longer tonight so maybe he’d sleep in tomorrow.  It was a bit chilly, but nice.  I hope the weather is wrong!  I do NOT want to deal with 40* weather for the next week. Waaah!

Anyway, thats our day.  I really enjoyed just hanging out with the little dude.  Tomorrow morning we’re going to get up and get dressed (I’m grubbin it tomorrow… no shower eewwww!) and head back into town to get my new monitor.  Aria is coming over at 11am, and if for some miracle its nice out I want to take them to the park for a picnic.  **Crossing my fingers that its nice**
