Just a few quick pictures of Hudson…

I busted out my flash today to play around. It only took me about an hour and a half to start using it.
Why?
Well, I needed batteries.
Batteries that were in my point and shoot camera.
My point and shoot camera I used last night but couldn’t find this morning.
The camera I spent an hour and a half searching this house top to bottom.
The camera that I found in Porter’s room… in his corderoy bag.
Two year olds. *sigh* Of COURSE I asked him where it was. Do you think he’d remember that he put it somewhere? The kid who reminds me EVERY TIME WE GO TO THE BANK about the dead deer we saw last winter on the back of a truck? Could he, that kid with the amazing memory, remember that he moved my camera that very morning and put it in his room? Nope.
Anyhow… once I found my camera I was able to put batteries in my flash. And actually use it.
I’d been wanting to take pictures of Hudson on this cool, old stool my mom has, but her house is SO DARN DARK. There is hardly any natural light in the main rooms. Darn it all!

Anyhow… I’m off to get in the shower. Both boys are sleeping and I’m sure it won’t last long. Once Ryan gets home from work I’m off to Chelsea to scrapbook. I sooooo need this time away today. Its been a rough week to say the least.
