Happy Valentine’s Day!

I hope you all had a great day- I spent my morning relaxing and at noon I went to the bowling alley with the 7th graders I just finished up student teaching.  No, I did not bowl.  I was asked this question a few times as if I had said I was going horsebackriding or something.  I was curious as to why everyone seemed worried, and after a little research on the internet I found that bowling is completely safe during pregnancy. Whew.  I thought maybe bowling had hit the list of dangerous sports or something.  Anyway, the kids were excited to see me and I had a great time hanging out with them and watching them have fun bowling.  I took a ton of pictures to email to the teachers (she forgot her camera). After bowling I went to the store and picked up some stuff to make manicotti for dinner.

Our Valentine’s Day was pretty low key.  We don’t really ever "celebrate" V-Day.  I made manicotti and some brownies, and for dessert we had the infamous Chocolate Thunder YUM!  Other than that, it was pretty uneventful, other than my numerous irritations with my husband.  I swear it is not just me getting irritated.  He does and says some of the dumbest things lately.  Like laughing and saying I looked like a "big ‘ol pimp" in my velour pants and hooded jacket. (mind you this is the only comfortable outfit I have left!!) Thanks for ruining it. Anyway, after I made it through cooking dinner we were able to sit and watch a few DVR’d Everybody Loves Raymond shows while we ate dinner.  I since have retreated to my office to get some scrapbooking hours in and stay away from any possible triggers that might irritate me LOL.  My poor hubby…

  1. Nic–I know men are irritating and especially when you are pregnant. You do have a great hubby so enjoy that and don’t let the small things get to you. Ya’ll are great together. And think about the times after Porter is born and you “NEED YOUR REST” —- let Ryan get u in the middle of the night!!!! 🙂 Love you both and baby Porter too!!!!
