Nothing like hearing from your sitter (in this case, this particular day, my grandma) that not only did one o your children throw up at the indoor play place, but the other child managed to lip the car out of park and nearly take out the neighbors fence.
Just another day in the life of…
Neither of the boys had a nap so they were extra rambunctious and extra whiny this evening. Porter threw a tantrum numerous times about having Kyle over to play (Kyle is 11, and had a friend over so I was preeettty sure they didn’t want a 5 year old tagging along).
Ryan had class.
I grilled out our first hot dogs of the season (am I the only person who loooves grilled hot dogs?).
The boys ate outside on their picnic table.
I dreamed of someday having a deck and not having to eat on the driveway.
After dinner it was STILL only 6:15 so we loaded up and went to Wal-Mart for a few random items.
The boys were whooped by the time we got home and bedtime was a breeze!
This weekend is going to be hectic, but I’m trying to look at the positives and enjoy it.
